Thank you all for sharing your thoughts last week through our quick survey. The results of this two-question survey are included below.
I’m happy to report that most of you are optimistic about the economy and positive regarding your progress toward your own business goals.
We had over 100 votes and 46 percent of you (down 4% since January 2015) expressed reserved confidence—but confidence nonetheless—in our country’s economy, and 11 percent of you are very confident in the way things stand. Not one person thought the economy was significantly worse.
Nearly 58 percent of you indicated that you are making good, steady progress toward your business goals. And 11 percent of you said you are, in fact, doing much better than six months ago. Some 19 percent of you feel you are in the same position that you were in this time last year. I think it’s important to note that only 1 percent said you were doing worse. And that (coupled with the overall positive response) is very good news.
It’s encouraging to see so many of you clearly on track at this point and moving forward with an optimistic attitude.
